PHD Family Welfare Foundation (PHDFWF) inaugurated an all new Dental & Eye Mobile Medical Van at PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) premises in New Delhi . The initiative was supported by Sanganeria Foundation for Health & Education and Jaquar Group.
The van will provide free dental and eye check up service to the population residing in the remote and rural areas of Gurugram, Bhiwadi, Rajasthan and also to the students of PHDFWF skill development centers and Government schools of Delhi/NCR.
In her inaugural speech, Anuradha Goel, Chairperson, PHD Family Welfare Foundation said: “We are inaugurating third medical van provided by Jaquar Foundation on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi . The mobile van will serve the specific requirement of eye and dental care treatment.” On this occasion, she also thanked donors for their contribution towards the noble cause.
PHD Family Welfare Foundation runs beneficiary programmes in various catchment areas. The Foundation also provides training on various areas of vocational studies, over and above skill development.
Dr Mahesh Y Reddy, Secretary General, PHDCCI, speaking on the occasion said: “This is not only important but a momentous occasion. The kind of activities Jaquar is doing are highly commendable, and anytime there is any such requirement Jaquar Group always come forward.” This is a noble cause in achieving social connect, upliftment, last mile connectivity and inclusive growth, he noted.
Such combined initiatives are setting examples while acquiring many accolades for contribution towards society, Dr Reddy added.
PHD Chamber-led PHD Family Welfare Foundation also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) chapter of Jaquar Group, which is one of the fastest growing bath brands in the world with presence in over 45 + countries across Europe, West Asia, Asia- Pacific, Africa and the SAARC region.
