The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has published Roll Numbers of the candidates qualified for the interview to be convened by the Service Selection Board (SSB) under the Ministry of Defence.
8548 candidates have been selected for the SSB interview on the basis of their performance in the Combined Defence Services Examination (I) held in February 5, 2017, Bureaucracy Today has learnt.
The examination was held for admission in Indian Military Academy in Dehradun, Indian Naval Academy in Kerala, Air Force Academy in Hyderabad, SSC Course for men in the Officers Training Academy and SSC Course (Non-Technical) for women in the Officers Training Academy in Chennai.
The UPSC today issuing an official statement has further asked the passing candidates to register themselves online on the Indian Army Recruiting website (joinindianarmy.nic.in) within two weeks of announcement of written result.
The candidates can avail further information from the Facilitation Counter, setup by UPSC, near Examination Hall Building in its Campus, or call its Facilitation Counter on 011-23385271, 011-23381125 and 011-23098543. The Roll Numbers along with information regarding examination has been uploaded on UPSC website (upsc.gov.in), its statement said.
