A day after taking oath as Telangana Chief Minister Kalvakantla Chandrashekhar Rao, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) nominated his son KT Ram Rao as the executive president of the party, giving him an official second-order. Till now, TRS had never had the post of Executive Chairman, which is now being called as Executive President. KT Ram Rao, popularly known as K.R.R., had organized several ministerial portfolios in the last cabinet, including IT, industry and Panchayat Raj, and had played an important role in the party's campaign during the assembly elections. In addition to organizing atmospheric tours across the state, he had an important role in deciding party candidates and addressing dissent.
KTR appointment comes in between the fact that KCR, who announced the plan to play a key role in national politics, could be crowned the Chief Minister in the next few months. If, in the coming Lok Sabha elections, the party gets favorable results. Immediately after winning a huge victory in the Telangana assembly elections, the timing of KCR's move, his nephew T. Harish Rao is considered right to conduct an inquiry, known as a strong strategic strategist with ground level level.
