Travelers of Delhi Metro have faced problems once again. Due to the error in the signal on Vaishali Section from Yamuna Bank, the service of the Metro is being blocked on the entire Blue Line. Due to the fault in the signal, the Blue Line service was interrupted for about 20 minutes at around 9 am this morning. Explain that from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., the maximum passenger travels in the Delhi Metro. During this time people use Metro service for their office. Earlier on Wednesday, the service of the Blue Line Metro was interrupted at noon. The Metro service between Dwarka and Noida operates on automatic mode, at about 4 minutes, 30 seconds, through central control.
At the same time, the Metro service between Yamuna Bank and Vaishali is running at approximately 5 minutes and 30 seconds frequency. The Metro Signaling team is working on improving the system and as soon as it gets corrected, all the Blue Line trains will run on its own as before. Before that on Wednesday, also there was a hassle for those who traveled through Delhi Metro. From late afternoon late in the night, the Delhi Metro was running late for hours. The highest impact was on Dwarka and Rajiv Chowk route. There were many trains here waiting for more than an hour, due to which thousands of people were taken to the metro station.
A statement issued from Delhi Metro said that due to signal technical failure at Operation Control Center from around 3 pm, there were some problems in running the metro over Noida from Dwarka route. Although the problem was resolved late in the evening, but according to the passengers, the Metro service on this line was not normal till late night. In fact, around 2.5 million passengers travel daily in the Delhi Metro. Typically Delhi Metro is considered to be extremely punctual, but due to technical breakdown, passengers sometimes have trouble.
