In response to the seven page letter written to the Chief Justice of India (CJI) a good two months ago by the top four judges of the Supreme Court, namely,Justices Jasti Chelameswar, Ranjan Gogoi, Madan B Lokur ang Kurian Joseph, regarding the CJI's conduct regarding the allocation of cases which was released for public opinion by the four judges at a Press Conference on Friday leveling allegations against the him, the CJI is most likely to schedule a meeting with the four judges a day after the incident and is also expected to address the press later the same day. The Supreme Court Bar Association is also expected to hold a meeting regarding the same and later address the press today.

Being the voice of the four, Justice Chalemeswar said, "We were left with no choice than to communicate it to the nation," as “less than desirable things have happened,” in the apex court and  “we tried to collectively persuade the Chief Justice that certain things are not in order... he must take remedial measures,” but “our efforts failed”.
