The Centre has launched Employees’ Enrollment Campaign to extend Social Security benefit of the employees, Bureaucracy Today has learnt.
The campaign was launched from January 1, 2017 to March 31, 2017 for the welfare of the employees of the country, Minister of of State for Labour and Employment today told Lok Sabha in a written reply.
“The campaign aims to encourage the employers to enroll the left out employees. A declaration of the employees was to be made who were left from April 1, 2009 to December 31, 2016 and was valid only for those employees who are still alive as on January 2017,” Dattatreya said.
“During the Campaign, various financial incentives are being offered to establishments to enroll their workers,” Dattatreya added.
