In a road rage case in which three judges and a driver of the Saket courts were injured in 2012, a Delhi court has sentenced three accused persons to 10 years imprisonment each.
The three judges — Ajay Garg, Inderjeet Singh and M. K. Nagpal — were car-pooling back home when the accused persons — Anil Raj, Rohit, Prashant Kumar and Sunil Raj — attacked them following a quarrel after the accused’s motorcycle hit their car.
The accused had initially calmed down after the driver and three judges counselled them. But when they saw the ‘Judges’ sticker on the vehicle, they got scared and started pelting bricks on the vehicle in which the judicial officers and the driver were injured.
