The President of India has appointed Justice Kumari Gita Mittal as Acting CJ of Delhi High Court with effect from April 14, Bureaucracy Today has learnt.
Justice Mittal, senior-most Judge of Delhi High Court will be taking charge as Chief Justice, Delhi High Court consequent upon the retirement of Justice Gorla Rohini.
Justice Mittal graduated from Campus Law Centre Faculty of Law, University of Delhi.
Justice Mittal has been a member of the governing council of the National Law University, Delhi. She is also a member of the governing council of the Indian Law Institute, New Delhi, since 2013.
