Putin's 'serious concern' on the martial law of Ukraine

Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed "serious concern" on Ukraine's decision to put martial law, Kremlin said Tuesday after the conflict between the two countries in the sea. In a phone conversation with Chancellor Angela Merkel, Putin also said that he hoped that the German leader could intervene in joining Kiev. Kremlin said in a statement after the call, Putin expressed serious concern over the verdict of Kiev's decision to alert its armed forces and present martial law. Marshall Law gives Ukrainian officials the power to organize citizens, control the media and restrict public rallies with military experience.
