India signs MoUs with Vietnam

India recently entered into various Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with Vietnam during the State visit of the country's President to India. 

The Agreements include MoU on Economic Trade Cooperation to establish a framework for enhancing economic and trade promotion signed by Sushma Swaraj, India's External Affairs Minister and Tran Tuan Anh, Minister of Industry and Trade, Vietnam; Work Plan for the years 2018-2022 between the Indian Council of Agricultural Research and Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam to promote cooperation in transfer of technology and exchange of visits of technical experts in the fields of agriculture and allied signed by Sushma Swaraj and Nguyen Xuan Cuong, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Vietnam and lastly MoU on cooperation between the Global Centre for Nuclear Energy Partnership, India and the Vietnam Atomic Energy Institute to strengthen the technical cooperation in the field of atomic energy for peaceful purposes signed by Sekhar Basu, Secretary, Department of Atomic Energy, India and Dang Dinh Quy, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Vietnam.
