Srikumar Menon has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Republic of Angola. He is presently serving as Ambassador of India to South Sudan.
Previously, he has served in varied capacities in the Indian Embassies in Muscat, Tehran, Khartoum, Singapore, Warsaw and The Hague. His diplomatic assignments covered a good chunk of administrative work in the Indian Missions; Charge d'Affaires, Warsaw, 2009, being one of them. Apart from this, he has actively represented the Indian Mission at the Organisation for Prohibition of Chemical Weapons in The Hague and handled the United Kingdom and Netherlands desk in the Europe West Division.
