India and Sri Lanka today discussed Buddhism and related promotion of tourism, the Buddhist circuit and connectivity between the two countries during the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Sri Lanka.
The Sri Lankan President mentioned about Bay of Bengal Cooperation which Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed, Bureaucracy Today has learnt.
Prime Minister also assured of India’s continuing support to Sri Lanka. He said India will be a strong development partner for Sri Lanka in the coming days and is prepared to cooperate with Sri Lanka to contribute to its growth and prosperity.
During the course of discussions between the leadership space cooperation also figured in and Prime Minister Modi assured that India would be supportive in any activities related to space to benefit from the South Asia Satellite.
Sri Lanka continues to be India’s focus as a very important partner, PM told the Sri Lankan President.
