Top member delegation of Indian industry chamber, FICCI, is accompanying Finance Minister Arun Jaitley to United States to attend the bilateral meeting between the two democracies.
“This visit will give CEOs a good opportunity to talk about programs such as Make in India, Digital India, Smart Cities, Skill India and Start-Up India,” Pankaj Patel, President of FICCI, who is leading the delegation, said today.
Patel is being accompanied by the chamber’s Managing Director, Zydus Cadila along with other members. The delegation will leave for US on April 20.
It would be meeting Institutional Investors of US followed by a luncheon meeting with Long Term Investors scheduled on April 24. The meetings would be addressed by Arun Jaitley, it said.
Talk would revolve around interaction with banks, investment funds, asset management companies and institutional investors looking to expand their presence in India as well as discussion regarding long-term investment opportunities in India.
During the visit, FICCI team will also take up the issuance of H1B visas that are of great importance to the Indian IT sector and our professionals, it said.
