Infosys Foundation with an objective to transform the village of Madhya Pradesh and its community in a holistic and integrated manner has partnered with Shivganga Samagra Gramvikas Parishad.
It is a NGO that is working for development solutions of rural India, to work for the sustainable development of tribal villages of Jhabua - Alirajpur districts of Madhya Pradesh.
Their aim is to cover aspects related to education, vocational training, community development and conservation of natural resources, Bureaucracy Today has learnt.
“It is in the heart of the villages that India lives. Development of our villages by creating sustainable livelihood opportunities is quintessential to accelerate the economic growth of India. The Foundation in collaboration with Shivganga Samagra Gramvikas Parishad hopes to play a catalytic role in the development of these villages, enable and raise the aspirations of those living in the villages of Jhabua - Alirajpur districts and provide them with the means to achieve dignified lives,” Sudha Murty, Chairperson, Infosys Foundation said.
Some projected key goals of the program includes running a skill development program to empower tribal youth, establishing a training center at Dharampuri village, and creating awareness and training of village youths for prosperity through conservation and enrichment of natural resources.
